PRE-WRITING SKILLS IN PLAYGROUP

Pre-writing skills are the basic fine motor skills which children need to develop before they are able to write. It helps a child to be able to develop the ability to hold and move a pencil fluently and effectively and therefore produce legible writing. This is achieved through activities such as Montessori Practical Life Exercises, tracing activities, maze activities and doing puzzles.
